Welcome back to Hump Day Linky and thanks for joining me on my weekly linky to celebrate Hump Day – the middle of the week, and the downhill journey to the weekend!
This week the snow has caused a bit of carnage here in Brum!!! At the age of four and a half Erin had never seen proper snow, and it is safe to say we have made up for lost time! We have had two snow days where school was cancelled, and during that time we have built a whole family of snowmen, gone sledging in the park and walked out for dinner at the local cavery when we were cut off from using the car! 🙂 It’s back to work and school tomorrow though. 2 weeks left till we break up for Christmas! 🙂
My favourite two posts from last week were:
Spencer’s Arc and 30 reasons why December will pass you by in a flash – I can relate to so much of this! I feel like I barely have time to breath at the moment let alone queue up for yet another Father Christmas 🙂

Last week there was a short hiatus from Hump Day Linky because if I’m honest… I can’t keep up with December and everything has felt a little bit crazy! I completely and utterly forgot… so apologies there are no featured bloggers this week!
This week we’ve enjoyed a festive trail at Birmingham’s Botanical gardens and taken Neve to see her first ever Father Christmas. It’ll be interesting to see how she reacts when we take her to see her grandad as santa on Sunday!

This week we are finally a bit of a healthier household! I have been busy with my Christmas Book orders and starting to make plans for the Christmas Holidays! We have Erin’s Nativity next week so this is something to look forward to – her first every one since she started school in September! I hope you have all had a good week!
My favourite two posts from last week were
Thirsty Daddy and his post A Silent Sideline – the school rules seem to get crazier by the day and I too would struggle to keep my mouth shut!!
and
Just Measuring Up and this fab Turkey Craft – perfect for Thanksgiving and Christmas alike and a fun activity for pre-schoolers! 🙂

This week has been pretty pants to be honest. The sickness bugs have returned (again!) and Neve being Neve, everything takes just that little bit longer to recover from. I have been sleeping on the sofa for a week. Not fun. The blog inbox is also getting quieter as we hit the run up to Christmas, so looking forward to a bit of a rest. I should advise here Hump Day Linky will not run on the 20th and 27th December.

My favourite two posts from last week were
Five of the Weirdest Bath Toys from Life with Mrs D – not quite what I was expecting when I first started reading, but yes Neve is also a fan of the calpol syringe!!! 🙂
and
The IPhone X is here from Shank You Very Much – I love that its your new unicorn – and id be keen to hear what you think!

This week has seen another jam packed weekend full of birthday parties and family gatherings, and I will be honest, I am exhausted and looking forward to a quieter weekend this week!! Things have also started to get a little busy with my Christmas business The Advent Shop, and so this week has mostly been spent making up my personalised Christmas Books – I love Christmas, and am excited for the new John Lewis advert which is released this week!

My favourite two posts from last week were both on a Halloween theme!
This Parenting Lark has a cruel twist from Kelly and the Kids – I am sure we can all relate to how fast the children grow up and the as much as we all moan about being needed alllll the time, it is so true that the thought of them not needing you is even harder to take!
and
A recipe from Meals and Makes – Popping Bonfire Toffee cakes – bonfire night may have been and gone (although someone tell my neighbours please), but these cakes look UH-MAY-ZING and definitely one I want to try out in the kitchen!

Happy November!!! Welcome back to Hump Day Linky and thanks for joining me on my weekly linky to celebrate Hump Day – the middle of the week, and the downhill journey to the weekend!
This week we have had a jam packed weekend, with a 40th Birthday party, and a fantastic Halloween party at my sisters house. The girls had an absolute ball, and Neve walked more than ever, toddling around like a little zombie skeleton, exploring all around my sister’s living room. She is getting quite confident now, so won’t be long till she’s running around as fast as her sister! 🙂

I loved Grandma Ideas’ Monster on a stick craft, and am impressed that anyone can make four children sit contently at a table together making things, so this must have definitely been a hit! 🙂
and
Captain Bob Cats’ spooky Halloween cookies – I’m not sure they would have hung around (excuse the pun) long enough to even photograph in this house! YUM!
