Christmas Eve Boxes – Now that we are in December and it’s officially acceptable to talk about Christmas, I have started thinking about nothing but! 🙂 I recently shared my Christmas Traditions, and today I finalised the content of my Christmas Eve boxes. This year is the first year that we have two, and despite Neve being only 3 months, I have done one for her too so that Erin doesn’t ask any questions! Despite only being 3 and a half, Erin is VERY inquisitive and already trying to figure out everything there is to know about Father Christmas! 🙂

We have wooden personalised boxes for our Christmas Eve Boxes, which I plan to use every year until the girls are big. The retailer changed their supplier since we ordered Erin’s and this years are now a bit bigger. For this year it probably won’t matter, but next year I may have to update Erin’s to be the same size else I can imagine it could cause a few arguments!

Here is the contents of Erin’s box:

  • The Big Christmas Sticker Book
  • Christmas DVD – this year is Santa’s Little Engine (a Thomas the Tank themed film)
  • Smarties Chocolate Santa’s and Rudlolf
  • Paperchase Christmas Stamps and ink pads
  • Festive Fair Isle Slippers
  • Pyjamas
  • Reindeer Food

We will also add the Nice List certificate when it arrives with our personalised letter from Father Christmas from Classic Santa (which should be arriving any day now!)

The reindeer food is really simple and easy to make – just oats and glitter in a little bag! 🙂 We sprinkle this on the lawn in the back garden before bed. (There is more room for Father Christmas to park his sleigh at the rear of the house!)

Our pyjamas are the Alderhey charity pyjamas from Matalan – I can’t wait for our whole family to chill in our matching pyjamas on Christmas Eve! 🙂

Neve’s Christmas Eve Box includes:

  • Festive Fair Isle Slippers
  • Pyjamas
  • My First Christmas Bib*
  • Reindeer Comforter*
  • Fan Fan the Fawn Teether
