Real Mum Reviews (RMR) came to life in 2013 whilst on maternity leave with my first child. As a first time Mum, I found parenting a bit of a minefield and didn’t have a clue where to start. I always looked for advice and support from other Mums and Dads, friends and family in order to make sensible purchase decisions. I decided there and then I would share my parenting journey, to help others in the same boat by sharing real life experiences of products & services aimed at pregnancy, motherhood and beyond.
A devils advocate; I also love to review everything else in life – whether it be parenting approaches, current affairs, and the latest lifestyle trends. I always try and see both sides of the story, but I will always share an opinion.
I blog regularly about current affairs, modern parenting, and trials and tribulations of life with two strong willed daughters! I am a HR Advisor by day, so passionate about being a working mum and maintaining work life balance. I am a book & stationery lover, a proud child of the 80’s, a Mr Men & Little Miss fanatic, a fundraiser, a memory maker and a Brummie born and bred!
Being a Real Mum, I also share the things I have learnt along the way – warts and all. I hope you can share some of my ups and downs – laugh with me, cry with me and at times, stay awake rocking a small child in the early hours with me! I love to chat, so never be a lonely Mum, drop me a line! 🙂
