Autumn Fashion with Femme Luxe

Who is bored of the rain yet? I have definitely had enough. My hair goes frizzy at the first sight of moisture, meaning that I am currently rocking that classic Hermione Grainger look with slightly manic curls, and unfortunately for me, I’m not quite sure I can pull it off!
It’s that annoying “mid point” of Autumn – the point at which its dark, wet and colder than usual, however EVERYWHERE suddenly has their central heating on at full blast, meaning that when you wrap up warm for the cold you end up literally roasting from the moment you get inside! Layers for Autumn are definitely the way forward, and I’ve recently been checking out the new range of Autumn Winter clothing and accessories at Femme Luxe who have some great options for these seasons for both day and night. I’d not bought from Femme Luxe before, so I really wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of quality – the prices are low -I was really pleasantly surprised!
Firstly I picked this Camel Waterfall Duster Belted Long coat from the Femme Luxe range of Women’s Coats and Jackets. Available in 9 (YES 9!!!) different colours including traditional winter shades of khaki, black and navy and rust, as well as more statement colours such as mustard, red and off white. This super soft coat is ideal for this time of year, as it easily becomes a really light weight top layer to wear over a thicker jumper or warmer top. I love the fact that there are no buttons or buckles, you can just simply wrap around you and tie as loosely or as tight as you wish. No messing around or struggling when you’ve got your gloves on!
Thie coat for me is a great balance of practical and stylish, so a big thumbs up from me. I am wearing the size 12-14 below, and am normally a size 14, so the sizes are pretty true to size in my opinion. This coat is currently on offer at just £16.99 which is an absolute steal. Tempted to get another colour!
When I get back from work I almost instantly want to change out of my work clothes (there is only so much smart business attire I can handle during the average working week!). As tempting as it may be to get straight into my pyjamas (and climb straight into bed!!) I do prefer to have something that looks a bit more presentable and stylish whilst immediately making me feel at home.
Femme Luxe have a great range of Women’s Loungewear sets which are ideal for chilling at home watching I’m a Celebrity, Netflix boxsets or other programmes of choice! Add in a warm cosy blanket and a nice glass of red wine and your evening is pretty much set.
I went for the Black Off Shoulder loungewear suit with coordinated top and bottom. With a drawstring waist and cuffed collars at the ankles, this is the super comfy option I was hoping for and have a really relaxed and unrestrictive fit. With shorter length options available if you prefer to have your pins on display, as well as a range of fabrics, colours and patterns, Femme Luxe have a huge range of Loungewear sets to suit every body shape and style preference.
I also love statement tshirts and I hate how sooooo many shops stop selling standard tees when the Winter months come. I love having tees that have a bold and bright message, and again these are ideal for layering up worn underneath cardigans, sweaters or hoodies.
This Love Yourself Tee is a great option and also a subtle reminder for when I am having a bad hair day or a lack of body confidence (which sadly is more often than it should be!). I Sometimes the first part of self care is learning to rock what you’re working with and this fitted tee is super flattering and enhances your shape for sure. Other items in the Femme Luxe T Shirt range include statements like “Life’s a Peach”, and “Champagne is always the answer”, both of which I also really loved.
Overall, I was really pleased with the items I selected from Femme Luxe.
