Celebrating Scoobtober this October
This post is in collaboration with BoomerangÂ
I don’t know about you, but once the 1st October hits, I finally accept that the heating is going on (if not somewhat lower than normal), the blankets come out and the tights and boots make a reappearance. I love Autumn, from the colours of our family walks to sweater weather and of course Halloween, but snuggling up on the sofa with my kids has to be my favourite thing in the world.
We love watching Halloween movies and TV programmes together as a family, but sometimes it can be hard to find suitable viewing in October that won’t scare them half to death or keep them awake all night. It can be a bit scary, especially for the little ones!
Thankfully, Boomerang have us covered this October, thanks to their inclusive, age appropriate content that the whole family can enjoy and laugh along with together.
This October, we will be checking out Scoobtober! One of my childhood favourites (and they would have got away with it if it wasn’t for those pesky kids!) Scooby-Doo and the gang are taking over Boomerang for a full month of mystery and spooky entertainment!
With back-to-back blocks from various Scooby-Doo series, as well as movies, specials and themed slots ALL DAY, throughout Scoobtober, we can even expect to see brand-new episodes of Scooby-Doo and Guess Who!
If you’re after some Halloween viewing that will induce laughter rather than screams, you can tune into new episodes of Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? from Monday 3rd October at 7AM and 5PM and watch all the best-loved Scooby-Doo movies weekends, throughout
October, and every day during the October half-term (Saturday 22nd to Sunday 30th October), at 9AM and 2PM.
Boomerang is available to watch on Sky 603, Virgin Media 730 and NOW.
Another popular child-friendly choice is the brand-new episodes of Lucas the Spider, only on Cartoonito. With each new episode, kids can follow Lucas and his cute little friends, on all their BIG adventures, singing and laughing with them along the way.
The new episodes are available to watch every day, at 5:30PM, from Monday 3rd October, beginning with Boot Castle, where Findley discovers a boot that him and Lucas use as a castle. Cartoonito is available to watch on Sky 610, Virgin Media 706 and NOW.
