#CiderMakesSummer Giveaway with Ember Inns

It’s Always Summer With Cider

It is rare that we get to have a date night, or even a date day now that we are parents to two children… however this weekend, we were treated to a brief insight into what life could be like if we are ever lucky enough to get a baby sitter!

Although the weather over the last couple of weeks has been somewhat dubious, I love nothing more than sitting in a beer garden with friends, and have spent many a summer afternoon before the children were born catching up at the Fieldhouse in Solihull. The Fieldhouse is part of Mitchell’s & Butler’s Ember Inns chain – a group of relaxed and family friendly restaurants, with a wide menu choices to suit every type of diner. With a large beer garden and a substantial drinks menu at The Fieldhouse, there really is something for everyone.

This Summer Ember Inns are running their #CiderMakesSummer campaign, celebrating all things cider; from offering a range of new fruity and refreshing ciders to, special offers and cider competitions!

If you head along to your local Ember, you can take advantage of their Buy 4 get 1 Free offer, enter a make your own cider competition sponsored by Westons and get involved with lots of other cider themed festivities!

We tried some of the wide range of ciders available at The Fieldhouse – they have lots of varieties we hadn’t tried before, from the traditional style Bulmers, to Koppaberg with Strawberry & Lime, Smirnoff’s Raspberry & Pomegranate cider and Blind Pig’s spirit-flavoured ciders such as Whiskey, Honey & Apple.

There is something amazingly refreshing about a cider in the sunshine, so much so that I almost felt like I was on holiday, despite the fact the tables were still speckled with water droplets from last night’s downpour!

The #SummerMakesCider event is on all summer at Ember Inns so head along and treat yourself!

GIVEAWAY

Want to win a £50 giftcard to spend at your local Ember Inn restaurant? Enter our competition below and you can treat yourself to a few ciders of your own, or put the giftcard towards a family meal if you prefer! Simply use the Gleam app below to enter.
