GIVEAWAY – Happyland Royal Family featuring Prince Louis
Well…. the name has FINALLY been revealed, and everyone is super excited to learn about the safe arrival of Prince Louis Arthur Charles this week!
Kate has been the subject of much discussion this week, and not only for her ever more efficient labours, but also for the fact that, for the third time now, she has stood on the steps outside the Lindo Wing, looking amazing, just hours after giving birth. There has been lots of opinions banded around that she is setting an unrealistic expectation for new Mums, where as for me, I mainly feel slightly sorry for her! If you’d have asked me to stand and wave at an entire nation just hours after welcoming my girls into the world, I’d have probably sobbed my heart out, hair and make up entourage or otherwise! The thought of squeezing my swollen feet into a pair of heels just hours after they’d come back down to earth would have been almost impossible – and the reality for me is that I refused (point blank) to have a photo taken of me holding Erin for 3 DAYS after she was born. I kind of regret that now!
Whatever your labour experience and whether you were radidant or rabbid after giving birth to your children, the reality is that for the majority of us at least, our recovery can be done away from the public eye, in the comfort of our big pants and slipper socks!
Now a Mother of 3, it is clear that Kate and Wills will certainly have their hands full, but what a beautiful family they are.
