Summer duet – NSPCC x Start Rite Shoes

Did you know that 2022 marks Start-Rite Shoes 230th birthday??

Pretty impressive right? 230 years of making high quality and durable shoes for babies and children, including their popular back to school range which are sure to be high up on everyone’s wishlist at the moment.

To mark the occasion Start-Rite have planned a whole host of celebratory activities across the year, including a partnership with the UK’s leading children’s charity, the NSPCC. The campaign is called “Protecting Their Future, One Step At A Time” and involves a programme of activities to provide time, product, expertise and resources to support the NSPCC in its mission to protect children and prevent abuse.

What are Start-Rite doing to support the NSPCC?

As part of their partnership with NSPCC, Start-Rite are doing the following:

• Donating 230 pairs of Start-Rite shoes via the NSPCC’s services and partnerships with local authorities, charities and schools
• Create and sharing advice on pertinent parental issues, including online safety, mental health and supporting children going back to school.
• Selling a bespoke NSPCC Shoe Collection, including canvas styles (hand-drawn by Start-Rite’s in-house designer). These exclusive designs, available online and through our extensive network of retail partners, will be launched throughout the year, with a donation made to the NSPCC for every pair sold.

Start-Rite x NSPCC designs

The NSPCC designs are absolutely stunning and quite different to a lot of the more basic pump and trainer designs that you’ll see in the shops this Summer.
