Best Freddie’s Flowers Vases to complement your flowers

My Freddie’s Flowers subscription is my little act of self care. Once a fortnight (or sometimes even once a month), I treat myself to a Freddie’s Flowers delivery and display in a Freddie’s Flowers Vase. While it’s fair to say they don’t come cheap, the quality and life span of these flowers certainly makes them worth the cost. When it comes to displaying your Freddie’s Flowers bouquets, however, the vase really can make all the difference.
When I first signed up to Freddie’s during lockdown, I had very few vases at home. Of the ones I did have, the vast majority had a narrow necked top, which unfortunately didn’t give these wonderful flowers a chance to spread out and definitely didn’t do them justice. When I saw my sister had the same bunch as me, but hers looked so much better, I decided to bite the bullet and invest in some Freddie’s Flowers vases.
There are lots of Freddie’s Flowers vases to choose from (of which I have collected quite a few!). Here’s my verdict on the best Freddie’s Flowers vases you can buy today.
*Please note, to order from Freddie’s Flowers shop, you need to have an active delivery, however, you can cancel your subscription at any time*
The Freddie’s Classic Vases
RRP – £25
Dimensions – H26cm x W16cm
The Freddie’s Flowers classic vase is perfect for displaying the standard sized delivery or even the Freddie’s Flowers showstopper. A glass vase at high height with a wide open neck that splays the flowers outwards, this vase allows you to spread the stems around and the leaves to open wide, improving the overall presentation of your display. I cannot explain how much better my flowers looked in the Freddie’s Classic Vase when compared to a tall narrow vase. Absolutely worth every penny.
Freddie’s Cut Down Vase
RRP £20
Dimensions: H16cm x W16cm
Freddie’s Flowers generally last around 2-3 weeks in duration, but when the bottom of the stems start to go a bit squishy, the Freddie’s Cut Down Vase is a great way to enjoy them for just that little bit longer. Simply trim off the bottoms of the stems and rearrange them in to the Freddie’s Cut Down Vase, which is effectively a miniature version of the Classic Vase. Some of the foliage with Freddie’s Flowers deliveries seems to last a lifetime (particularly the yellow solidago and alstroemeria). I have the Freddie’s Cut Down Vase in my kitchen, and simply move them over when the time is right. If you have a fortnightly delivery, in most cases, you’ll always have two on the go!
Freddie’s Hurricane Vase
RRP – £40
Dimensions – H33cm x W15cm
Last but my no means least is the Freddie’s Hurricane Vase, one of the Freddie’s Flowers vases that really stands out and offers a more ‘grand’ way to present your collection. Whilst I love the height of this vase, it’s probably my least favourite of the three, as it’s a little less stable – with two kids at home, there is a far greater risk of this one getting knocked over or smashed!
Are the Freddie’s Flowers Vases worth the money?
Freddie’s Flowers Vases can really make a difference when it comes to displaying your Freddie’s Flowers. I have overall been very pleased with my Freddie’s deliveries. Initially I liked the boxes to be a surprise, but now that I have signed up to the emails so that I can see what arrangements are coming up. This way I am able to see what flowers and what colours are expected, skipping a week if the arrangements don’t appeal.
To order any of the Freddie’s Flowers Vases above you need to sign up for a Freddie’s Flowers delivery. Standard arrangements start at £29. You can then add any shop items to your order and mark on the calendar how frequently you wish to receive them.
