Mother’s Day is fast approaching and whether it’s treating your own Mother, your Mother in Law, the mother figure in your life, a grandparent or even simply taking a moment to celebrate your own role as a Mum, Mother’s Day is a great opportunity to say thank you to those special people in our lives that look after us, keep us safe, and always have our backs no matter what.

Whilst Mother’s Day is a bitter sweet day for me personally (having lost my Mum to breast cancer in 2013), but I still enjoy celebrating my own Mum status with the girls, and we always have Mike’s Mum round for a homemade afternoon tea to say thank you for everything she does.
