Parent Community – #NightFeedNatter
Tonight sees the launch of my new Twitter and Facebook Community – #NightFeedNatter!
One thing I will never forget from life with my first born, was the amount of time you spend awake during night feeds. They are relentless. At times, it feels like you are the only person in the world that is awake, particularly in the Winter when the sun seems to take an eternity to come up. Those hours between 11pm and 5am can seem like torture, and at times, it would just be nice to know that you aren’t alone, and that someone else, somewhere is going through the same thing as you!
So, this time, with my second baby, I decided I would try and create a little bit of a community – a community of Mums or Dads that are up with their baby’s / toddlers in the night. Whether they be breast or bottle fed, are having a battle with teething or colic, a resisting toddler or simplye a hungry newborn, you can guarantee that someone, somewhere will be going through the same challenges as you – so why not come and chat about them?
Each night at around 1am I will share my topic of the day with the hashtag #NightFeedNatter – simply head to our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/realmumreviews) or our Twitter page (http://www.twitter.com/realmumreview) and join in the chat by commenting on the post or responding to my tweet with the same hashtag. The post will be live all night, so no matter what time you are up, you can post and read back other people’s comments and enjoy some adult conversation!
Some posts will be child related, others will be totally random, but you may even make some virtual friends in the process! I can guarantee that I will be one of them!! 🙂 See you there!
