Unambiguous Signs Your Body Needs Supplements

Unambiguous Signs Your Body Needs Supplements

This is a collaborative post

It can be hard to tell if your body is lacking something. There are some signs, however, that make this much easier for you. The following things will give you the best indication of whether or not your body needs supplements.

These are all definite indications that there may be a deficiency in the body that you should address with supplements!

You Feel Unusually Fatigued After Rest

Research shows that if you are experiencing insomnia, you should use CBD products such as
water soluble CBD. This can help you get enough rest into the night. However, if you notice that when you wake up you feel fatigued, there are two reasons for this.

The first being, your body needs a chance to recover from the physical activity that it got subjected to. If this is the case, then regular exercise and adequate sleep will help speed up recovery time so that you can get back on track.

The second reason you may feel fatigued after rest is that your body needs essential fatty acids. Essential oils are the building blocks of your cells and help keep them flexible. Without both omega-s in proper balance, they can’t function correctly, and you will notice a change in energy levels. The Omega-s are Omegas three, six, and nine.

Weak Hair and Nails

Weak hair and nails are vital signs that your body may not be getting all the nutrients it needs. Hair, for example, is made primarily of keratin protein, which helps strengthen skin tissue and blood vessel walls.

Dry, brittle hair is a sign of malnutrition or over-processing (bleaching, color treatments). Dandruff also can be an indication that your body needs more vitamins in the form of supplements.

For dry, brittle nails, you can try to add more calcium to your diet or take a supplement with extra biotin along with vitamin C, which will strengthen them.

Change in Bowel Movements

If you notice changes in your bowel movements, it could be a sign of low magnesium. If this is the case, an excellent supplement option for you would be bone broth. Bone broth contains high amounts of calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus to keep your digestive tract functioning properly while also providing a host of other benefits like improving sleep quality or reducing anxiety levels.

It’s not uncommon for people to experience some changes in bowel movements, but if you’re noticing more frequent trips to the bathroom or your stool is looser than usual, it could be a sign that you need an increase of fiber.

Start by adding beans, fresh fruit, and vegetables, whole-grain bread and cereals. You may also want to try a fiber supplement.

You Are Pregnant

Pregnancy is when your body needs more vitamins and minerals—mainly because you are growing another human being inside of you. If you’re pregnant or think that might be the case, make sure to talk with your doctor about what supplements will work for you.

Supplements can help support pregnancy-related health outcomes such as healthy weight gain, a healthy pregnancy duration, and low rates of gestational diabetes. Supplements can also help improve the health outcomes for both you and your infant after birth.

If you feel any of these signs, it’s time to talk to your doctor about whether supplements are right for you and find the best supplement possible.
