You Can Still Slay As a Mom: How To Do It

You Can Still Slay As a Mom: How To Do It

This is a collaborative post

In this society, being a mom is not easy. You have to deal with the mess, the stress of keeping your house clean and tidy while still managing work-life balance, and trying to do what you can for yourself. But to be honest: being a mom doesn’t mean that you have to stop living your best life.

Enhance Your Smile

Having a great smile is something that can help you feel your best. In addition, cosmetic dentistry treatments like veneers, teeth whitening and dental implants can make your smile look brighter.

Consider looking into standard treatment costs, for example, what braces cost might help you plan your finances or seek alternative treatments.

Enhancing your smile can give you more confidence.  A big part of feeling confident is looking good and having a bright smile to make you feel better about yourself. In addition, many people report that they get complimented on their teeth when they have had cosmetic treatments, which only improves their self-esteem even further.

Change Your Whole Wardrobe

It’s a given that you’ll need to change your wardrobe. You can’t walk around in a suit and dress anymore unless, of course, you’re going into the office daily after having a baby.

Buy a ton of comfy dresses and skirts in different colours – the last thing you want to do is wear leggings every day. You’ll feel more confident if you look good anyway.

Also, don’t be afraid to branch out a little bit and try on some different styles – you never know what looks good unless you try.

Workout and Eat Well

Whether you’re a working mum or stay at home, to slay as a mum, you need to work out and eat well. If you work out regularly, it can relieve stress and make you feel good about yourself!  Research suggests that exercising releases endorphins which makes people happy and less depressed.

Along with working out, often try eating right as well.  Make sure you eat a good amount of vegetables and fruits every day to stay healthy, lean, and ready for anything.

Have a Skincare Routine

Having a skincare routine is one of the most important things to maintain your skin as a mum.  There are so many products on the market; however, you don’t want to spend much time or money. The key is finding something that works for your skin type and doesn’t take too much effort to use regularly.

Work on Your Confidence

It doesn’t matter what you wear or if your hair’s on point. It matters how confident you are, whether that means speaking up more, reaching out to someone new, or learning something.

Take Pictures and Post on Your Socials

Taking pictures and posting them on your social media is one way to stay connected with your friends and followers, especially if you leave them hanging for days or weeks because of mom life.

Create a schedule for photo taking. If possible, take pictures at the same time every day so followers know when they can expect new content.  Be sure to use the hashtags trend because this will give you more exposure and make it easier for people to find your content.

Conclusion

Mommyhood is a challenge, and it’s all about balance. But, you can still slay as a mom if you take care of your health, prioritise what matters most to you and remember that no one is perfect.
