The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice Tour is coming!

The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice is coming!

Here at Real Mum Reviews, we are HUGE fans of the Disney on Ice Tours. Not only is Erin a huge fan of the Disney movies themselves, but as she has got a bit older (now aged 5), she has really started to develop a love and appreciation of dance – meaning that when you combine the two, ON ICE, it was always going to be a huge success. We have been to a number of Disney on Ice Tours before, including Passport to Adventure and World of Enchantment and each time, Erin has watched with a huge smile on her face as her favourite characters bring their magical worlds to life right in front of our eyes.

Amazingly, the Disney on Ice Tour has now been running for over 30 years, with their first tour taking place back in 1988. It is now shown in over 67 different countries across the globe and as of August 2017, roughly 283 MILLION guests have seen Disney on Ice worldwide – how amazing is that?!

Each year the tour is refreshed and updated with new themes, characters and story lines, with Mickey and Minnie Mouse being your tour guides for the night and this year is no exception!

In 2019, The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice sees Mickey and Minnie taking the audience on a magical journey down memory lane visiting a huge variety of our movie favourites along the way including:

  • Dory, Nemo and Marlin from Finding Dory embark on a new ocean adventure, as they aim to discover the real meaning of FAMILY.
  • Anna, Elsa and Olaf from Frozen take us to Arendelle where they learn about LOVE – the greatest power of all.
  • Rapunzel shows us how nothing is out of reach when you have FRIENDS to light the way,
  • Snow White and her Seven Dwarfs make their own magic and reveal we can do ANYHING with our friends in tow.
  • Buzz and Woody from Toy Story will have you jumping out of your seat in a throwdown
  • Simba, Timon and Pumbaa prowl the pridelands
  • Jasmine, Aladdin and the Genie show that friendship is FEARLESS.

As if that wasn’t enough, arrive early and you’ll get the chance to learn the Mouse Bounce Dance with Mickey and Minnie as part of the Fit to Dance pre-show. Packed with upbeat music and energising activities, the Fit to Dance pre shows encourage everyone to get up and out of their seats and create imaginative stories through dance.

With amazing backdrops, stunning scenery, fantastic outfits and some pretty impressive skating skills thrown into the mix, The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice is sure to be a big hit with Disney fans young and old.
