Another month has passed, and another moment has arrived to capture the relationship between my two daughters as part of The Siblings Project. For those of you who aren’t aware of the concept, the Siblings Project encourages you to take a photo of your children together every month during the year, to document their friendship, experiences and show how they are growing up together.

This months has a bit of a Valentine’s theme, as we made the girls matching Valentine’s  T Shirts using potato printing. Erin loved getting involved and helping making these, and loved even more the fact that her and Neve looked the same! I know a lot of people find ‘twinning’ a little tacky, but I think its super cute to have them occasionally dressed in the same outfit, especially if its for a special occasion.

We’ve had a tough month, as Neve has been very poorly with a horrible gastro bug – we are currently on Day 6 with no signs of it stopping yet.  I am currently at Birmingham Children’s Hospital with her getting help to keep her hydrated.

Erin has been a wonderful big sister, and helped Mummy as much as she can when we were at home. She struggled with the concept of not being able to give Neve a kiss and wanted to cuddle her to make her better.

I unfortunately am having to keep them apart as much as possible, but it’s so heartwarming to know that Erin cares so much and has really grown to love her little sister.

She loves nothing more than to make Neve laugh, and although we haven’t had much laughter this week, I am hopeful that this will return very soon!

Fingers crossed Neve will fight off this nasty winter bug soon and we can get the siblings back together at home where they belong!!
