This Christmas, I am happy for the girls to #PickSnot…..

But not quite in the way you may think.

If you haven’t met Snot yet, then this Smyths Toys advert will explain everything. The Snot I am referring to is actually a snuggly and loveable character; the star of Smyths Toys latest Christmas campaign.

In the new Smyths Toys Superstores advert, you are introduced to Snot as ‘The toy no one wanted’.

After a factory mishap, Snot is kicked out and left wondering the streets alone, madly trying to find someone to love him. He then comes across the Smyths Toys Superstore, and sees a world of friendly toys staring back at him!

When a 50ft dinosaur threatens to destroy the city, Snot sticks to his foot and trips him over, saving the day and becoming a unlikely hero! The Smyths Toys welcome him into their home, and Snot lives happily ever after! 🙂

You cannot beat David Walliams as a narrator, and Erin found this advert hilarious when she first saw it on TV.

Smyths have bought ‘Snot, The toy no one wanted’ to life, with their very own cuddly plush version, and we were lucky enough to be sent one for the girls to enjoy.

Snot has been a huge hit in this household – being soft and squishy, both girls couldn’t wait to give him a big cuddle.

Despite his name being a little on the gross side, he is actually considerably cuter than you may think, almost looking like a little green cocoa bean with arms and legs and huge beady eyes.

Erin has had to battle a little to stop Neve from eating Snot (although it wouldn’t be the first time lol)

For me, the very best part about Snot, is that all the profits from every sale will go to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity in the UK and Temple Street Foundation Charity in Ireland. So not only will you be giving Snot a brand new home this Christmas, but you will also be helping others and supporting an amazing cause at the same time.

Snot is available in store only, and retails at £9.99.
