If you follow me regularly you will know that Neve is a BIG fan of Peppa Pig. There is something about watching Peppa that instantly calms Neve down even after the most exhausting of days and she will sit happy and content watching her favourite characters on screen whilst playing with her toys. For Christmas last year, we bought Neve the Peppa Pig Wooden Playhouse, and I have never seen a preschooler play with something for as long as she does, acting out little scenes and moving her Peppa Pig characters around from one floor to the next.

Did you know that as well as the traditional Peppa Pig character play sets, you can also get Peppa Pig Story Book playsets and Peppa Pig Vehicles, both of which make a fun addition to creative and imaginative role play for preschoolers.

We were sent a couple of the items from the range to check out and as you can see, Neve was pretty excited when they arrived at the start of lockdown!

First up was Peppa’s Magical Unicorn which comes with three characters – Daddy Pig, Peppa and Suzy Sheep, as well as a unicorn ride on toy and a cute Unicorn back drop, perfect for helping create their own stories. The characters are all articulated so Neve enjoyed moving their arms up and down and helping them stand up or sit down as required. The unicorn is also a very cute addition, with a seat shaped area that is the perfect size for Peppa or Suzy to go for a little ride.

Neve’s favourite part, perhaps bizarrely was the little back drop stand, as she used this as a bit of a scene creator when making up her stories!

Her favourite set out of the two however was the Peppa Pig’s School Bus, which whilst doesn’t come with any additional characters, has Miss Rabbit fixed into the driver’s seat and space for two others to sit in the back.

Neve really enjoyed popping her own characters into the back seats; again with pre determined slots for where they can go, before popping the roof back on and setting off on her adventures! Aged 3, she occasionally did need a bit of help with the roof (as it ha to be facing the right way around) but overall, I could let her play unassisted. The Peppa Pig’s Bus has wheels, so Neve bought her imagination to life by racing around the living room rolling the bus around with her as she went.

Whilst these Peppa Playsets aren’t particularly cheap at around £12.99 each (dependent on stores), they are well made and durable, and the perfect size for the little hands of Peppa fans everywhere.

These sets would make a great addition to any existing fans toy collection, and are available to buy from Amazon and all good toy stores.

*Disclosure – we were sent these products in exchange for our honest review, however as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
