It’s the end of Week 2 of the #2017MonthlyChallenge – and this month is #FoodDiaryMonth – Here’s how I have been getting on.

The first week ended on a bit of a high when I did my first weekly weigh in at my Dads. I had lost between 2 and 3 pound from my starting weight (woohhooo!), so was chuffed to bits that my hard work seemed to be paying off! My other half is doing it with me and he stayed the same, so I also got the joy of being able to gloat for a little while! Ha ha!

This week however, I can’t say that I have been anywhere near as good as I was in week one. Sure, I’ve kept up the food swaps that I started in the first week, like swapping white bread for wholemeal, but the occasional treats have started to creep their way back in already. It is official that I have very little willpower when it comes to the sweet stuff – so next months #SugarFreeFebruary is going to be hard!

Add in to the mix my Dad’s Birthday breakfast and an Indian Takeaway on Friday night – I will be very surprised if I have  lost any weight this week. Must try harder!!!

Despite this, I have kept up the food diary, so I can at least see visually where I am going wrong. I can clearly see where I am ‘wasting’ calories, so I know what I need to do to fix it.

Next week will be a good week again I promise!
