Last week my daughter turned 3 *sob*. I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. It feels likely only yesterday that we bought her back from the hospital as a tiny little bundle in her car seat! 🙂 As she is getting older, she has made more and more friends at nursery, and this year, we had our first ever “proper” party, where we invited a number of children to attend including nursery and family friends alike. Erin was VERY excited, and kept checking that all her friends had been invited! 🙂
As exciting as parties can be, they also come with a fair amount of stress as a parent – not only in terms of inviting everyone and getting responses, but also in terms of preparing food, a birthday cake, decorations and not to mention party bags! The list seems pretty endless!! The thought of all that running around whilst nearly 7 months pregnant didn’t fill me with joy!
I decided to have a bit of a theme for Erin’s party, and so was chuffed when I discovered Party Bags & Supplies who offer party packs containing everything you need in a particular design, including Pre Filled party bags! We were given the opportunity to review a set from their Party Packs range and this seemed like the perfect solution!

Our Experience
We ordered the Hungry Caterpillar Party Pack which comes with 12 caterpillar cups, 12 plates featuring the caterpillar on a leaf, 12 napkins, featuring the caterpillar on his strawberry, and a large green tablecloth with a grass effect. The Hungry Caterpillar is one of Erin’s favourite books (she would have it read to her every day if she could!) and also a fond favourite from my childhood, so this felt like the perfect theme for us.
The items arrived very quickly after order, and I was really impressed with the quality when the products arrived. Some party supplies can be thin and appear cheap looking, but this was not the case at all. The plates were thick and of high quality, and the cups and napkins were bright, bold and colourful. The contents all came in a well packaged box, so that all of the products were safely protected in transit.  I really loved the table cloth with the grass design, as felt this would really set off the theme, and being wipe down was perfect for the inevitable spills that would follow!
The pre filled party bags were really cute. (Please note I ordered some extras hence why there is a larger number in the pic!). The bags themselves were high quality thick paper with the caterpillar design and little handles, and contained a large flump sweet (a party favourite!), 2 strips of insect / butterfly stickers, a hand clapper and pull back butterfly or bee. The latter two products varied in colours, and not just the traditional blue and pink. This was a real benefit, as it enabled me to pick which colours I felt were most suited to the children attending.
Having to not worry about party bags was a real positive, as all I needed to do on the day was add a slice of cake in a napkin and the kids were happy as larry! 🙂 I know my friends have previously spent ages setting up party bags before a special day, so to have one less job to do is always a bonus!
The time saved in shopping for party bags meant that I had more time available to work on Erin’s cake, and I really enjoyed decorating the caterpillar on the top.
Overall, I cannot recommend these party packs more highly as they make everything stress free and straightforward. With so many ranges available, parents can be confident that there will be something to suit every child, as most of my daughters and nephews favourites are featured.
